A scripted rider experience where the whole job was timing and feel.
I worked with a UI/UX designer and a backend engineer on an Uber rider demo for Android XR display glasses.
It was a scripted demo rather than a working app: a fixed map and prepared UI states, assembled so the whole ride read clearly in one take.
I built everything visible in Unity and owned the timing, motion, and polish that made the sequence hold together.
Google used it in The Android Show: XR Edition, and I built an updated version of it for the Google I/O 2026 keynote.
Public demonstrations
Pickup details carried into the glasses view.
The Android Show: XR Edition showed the rider experience in an airport setting. I then updated the demo for Google I/O 2026, where pickup details appeared in the in-lens display during the keynote.
